This isn't a role for a theoretical architect or a manager who stays away from the keyboard - you will design, build, deploy, and maintain large-scale, production-grade systems in an industry that is shifting by the week.You’ll own the execution of net-new features from inception to deployment, navigate the technical challenges of AI-driven media pipelines (like video generation), and ensure our infrastructure scales smoothly under load.What You'll DoShip End-to-End: Own major product features and infrastructure overhauls from the initial whiteboard sketch down to the production release.Architect for Scale: Maintain and optimize complex, large-scale codebases, ensuring high performance, low latency, and clean architecture.Own the Pipeline: Manage and mature our CI/CD pipelines to keep deployment velocity high and production stable.Solve New Problems: Build the technical foundation for rapidly evolving technologies, integrating cutting-edge generative AI models and heavy asset workflows into a reliable platform.Lead by Example: Elevate the engineering team through great execution, pragmatic problem-solving, and thoughtful code reviews.RequirementsTech Stack Proficiency: Advanced full-stack experience with JavaScript/TypeScript (node, nextJS), Python, and ideally Rust.Scalable Systems: Proven track record of building and maintaining global-scale web applications and robust backend services.Google Cloud Expertise: Deep proficiency in orchestrating Google Cloud infrastructure, including Cloud Run, Cloud Spanner, GCS, Firebase, and BigQuery.Strong skills in debugging, performance optimization, and implementing best practices in code qualityOwnership & Ambition: An ambitious, product-minded engineer who thrives on ownership and is prepared to excel in a fast-paced, high-stakes startup environment.
