Job Title: ER Registered Nurse Profession: Registered Nurse Specialty: Emergency Room Duration: 13 weeks Shift: 12 Hours, Days Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: 2 years License: Required Certifications: ACLS, BLS, NIHSS, PALS, TNCC Must-Have: 2 years RN experience Description: Unit Notes: ER RN position with a 36-hour guarantee. Must have ACLS, BLS, NIHSS, PALS, and TNCC certifications. Experience required: 2 years as a Registered Nurse. Facility features 30 private ER rooms, including a six-room observation unit. There are 6 fast track beds for minor non-urgent issues. Includes 1 seclusion room and an additional 5 monitored rooms. This is a Level IV Trauma Center. The nurse to patient ratio is 1:3 or 1:4. An average of 100 patients is seen per day. Support staff includes 5 technicians during peak hours. Common patient types include trauma, cardiac, and neuro cases. Electronic medical records are managed with Allscripts - Sunrise. Medication system in place is Omnicell.
