Job Title: RN - ICU Profession: Registered Nurse Specialty: Intensive Care Unit Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Night Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: 1 years License: Registered Nurse Certifications: ACLS, BLS Must-Have Skills/Experience: Competent, team player with good work ethic. Flexible and adaptable to changing circumstances. Description: The ICU nurse coordinates, plans, directs, and implements the nursing process in the delivery of patient care in the critical care setting. The nurse will care for patients fresh from surgery, including those with cardiac conditions, neurological issues, and severe respiratory demands. The unit cares for patients experiencing sepsis and those recovering from stroke interventions. The nurse will also utilize advanced medical equipment and electronic medical records for patient management. The work environment requires a commitment to delivering high-quality patient care and collaboration with interdisciplinary teams. Weekend shifts will include rotations every other weekend. Holidays will require availability for at least one major holiday each season.
