Housekeeper & Lt. Maintenance Technician- Wausau

We're looking for a reliable, hands-on team member to help keep two residential communities in Wausau, WI clean, safe, and well-maintained. This role supports daily housekeeping needs and light maintenance tasks to ensure residents feel comfortable and cared for in their homes. Kannenberg Plaza is a 106-unit affordable housing community serving seniors, individuals with disabilities, and Section 8 residents. Landmark Hotel Apartments is a 94-unit affordable housing community working with the Low Income Housing Tax Credit (LIHTC) program. What You'll Do Maintain exceptional cleanliness throughout hallways, common areas, offices, elevators, restrooms, sidewalks, and parking areas at both properties Perform detailed cleaning duties including carpet cleaning, bathroom sanitation, and high-touch surface disinfection Clean and prepare vacant units including basic make-ready work Complete light maintenance such as changing light bulbs, minor plumbing, appliance cleaning, and simple repairs Respond to service requests and assist with maintenance when assigned Conduct routine property inspections and report needed repairs Support onsite staff and vendors to maintain safe and attractive communities What You'll Bring High school diploma or equivalent Previous housekeeping or light maintenance experience preferred Reliable transportation and ability to work at both properties Ability to read and follow work orders and safety procedures Basic knowledge of cleaning and light maintenance tasks Strong communication skills and ability to work well with a team Compensation & Benefits Competitive hourly pay between $20-$23/hour Medical, dental, and vision insurance Long- and short-term disability coverage 18 days of paid time off 11.5 paid holidays Paid parental leave Lifestyle spending accounts 401(k) with a 6% company match Apply today to join our team and help create clean, safe, and welcoming communities for our residents.
