Job Title: Account Executive - Electrical Power Solutions Job ID: 82692 Location: Dallas, Texas - Hybrid Overview: Our client is seeking an Account Executive with a strong background in the electrical power industry to join their growing sales team. The ideal candidate is a proven hunter with experience generating new business opportunities, while also maintaining and growing existing customer relationships. This role requires technical fluency in areas such as electrical maintenance, safety, and power systems, paired with a drive to achieve and exceed sales goals. What you will be doing:Execute inside sales activities including outbound calls, daily prospecting, and lead generationDevelop new business opportunities while retaining and expanding existing customer accountsPursue and close sales opportunities to meet and exceed annual quotaPartner with marketing to enhance customer outreach, follow-up with prior customers, and develop growth strategiesRepresent the company with professionalism, tact, and diplomacy at all timesAttend select trade shows and customer visits (limited overnight travel)Maintain accurate customer and sales activity records within CRM systems What you must have:Minimum of 3+ years of sales experience in the electrical power industry (electrical maintenance, safety, or related fields required)Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, or related technical field (or equivalent experience)Demonstrated success in new business development (hunter mentality)Proficiency in Microsoft Office and CRM systemsWorking knowledge or hands-on experience with one or more of the following is preferred:SubstationsCircuit breakersRelaysPower cablesTransformersStrong organizational and multitasking abilitiesAbility to work independently as well as part of a small team Salary/Rate Range: $50,000 - $60,000 Other Information: Travel Requirements Occasional travel for trade shows and customer visitsTypical trips are 2-3 business days, planned 1-2 weeks in advance Benefits Quarterly Commissions - performance-based earnings potentialMedical, Dental & Vision Insurance - Coverage begins on your first day, majority employer-paidPrescription Coverage & Health Savings Account - With company contributionsLife & AD&D Insurance - 100% employer-paid, equal to 1.5x annual salary, with supplemental optionsDisability Coverage - Short- and long-term disability, premiums fully covered by employer401(k) Savings Plan - Immediate eligibility with company match (50% up to 10% of salary), Roth option availableFlexible Spending Accounts - Health care, dependent care, orthodontics, and morePaid Time Off - Vacation, PTO rollover, 12 paid holidays, and company closure between Christmas and New Year's If you're ready to combine your sales expertise with a passion for electrical power solutions, we'd love to hear from you.
