Senior Accountant and Advisory Specialist

As a Senior Accountant and Advisory Specialist, you will have the opportunity to:Manage a diverse client portfolio, overseeing all aspects of bookkeeping to year-end closing, including bank reconciliations, closing journal entries, P&L analysis, and supporting schedules. Prepare timely and precise accounting reports on a monthly, quarterly, or annual basis. Identify discrepancies and conduct thorough investigations to resolve account inaccuracies. Offer actionable recommendations to enhance accounting systems and processes. Facilitate intercompany reconciliations and manage transactions between entities. Participate actively in the financial consolidation process for accurate statement preparation. Mentor and support junior team members to foster their professional growth. RequirementsThe ideal candidate will possess the following qualifications:A bachelor's degree in accounting or finance. 3 to 5 years of accounting experience within an accounting firm. Strong technical skills in bookkeeping, bank reconciliations, journal entries, and P&L analysis. Proficiency in financial reporting, ensuring accuracy in monthly, quarterly, and annual reports. Exceptional analytical skills to detect and address discrepancies effectively. Problem-solving aptitude to propose enhancements for accounting systems and practices. Understanding of intercompany reconciliations and managing transactions across entities. Experience with financial consolidation processes for accurate statement preparation. Leadership qualities to guide and mentor junior staff members. Meticulous attention to detail to ensure compliance in all tasks. Ability to multitask effectively while maintaining high-quality standards. Excellent time management skills for prioritizing responsibilities and meeting deadlines. Strong communication skills to articulate complex accounting matters clearly.
