This role focuses on providing day-to-day design support, troubleshooting production issues, and evaluating design changes to improve cost, quality, and performance within a manufacturing environment.ResponsibilitiesProvide hands-on design support and troubleshooting for the windrower platform production line.Develop, evaluate, and recommend design solutions to improve product cost, quality, and performance.Define and maintain engineering specifications to resolve routine design issues and support production needs.Collaborate with cross-functional teams including manufacturing, supply management, and suppliers as needed.Analyze and support test plans used for product verification and validation of design changes.Support production schedules by working flexible hours, including occasional overtime.Years Of Experience And EducationBachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Agricultural Engineering, or a related field or equivalent related work experience.Previous experience in a manufacturing, production support, or design engineering environment.Skills RequiredExperience using Creo or similar CAD software.Strong problem-solving skills in a production or manufacturing setting.Ability to communicate effectively while working within cross-functional teams.Familiarity with product verification and validation processes.Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.Experience working with SAP.Knowledge of assembly line processes and related documentation.Experience with weld processes and weld documentation.#INDPRO
