MORI Associates is seeking an exceptionalFluids Analyst/Engineerto work remotely supporting cuttingedge spacecraft development efforts, with a focus on cryogenic propellant systems. In this role, you'll join a crossfunctional team working to advanceinspace cryogenic fluid management , guiding mission design, hardware configuration, and system performance for nextgeneration spacecraft.
This is an opportunity to directly influence the trajectory of aerospace innovation and contribute to technologies that will change how humanity explores the solar system.Key ResponsibilitiesGenerate, run, and refinethermofluids modelsof cryogenic propellant systems including Reaction Control Systems, cryogenic fluids and Helium systems used in spacecraft.
Provide engineering guidance onhardware configuration , missionconcept of operations (ConOps) , andcontrol logic optimization .
Quantitatively evaluate design alternatives, perform trade studies, and presentdatadriven recommendationsto engineering leadership.
Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to advance thestateoftheart in inspace cryogenic fluid managementtechnologies.
Required QualificationsB.S. degreein Mechanical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, or a related discipline.
5+ yearsof handson experience in thermalfluids analysis and mechanical component design.
Demonstrated proficiency withThermal Desktop .
Background in analyzingcryogenic, twophase liquid systems .
Strong capability infirstorder hand calculationsand Excelbased fluids analysis.
Desired QualificationsAdvanced engineering degree (M.S. or Ph.D.).
CFD experience, especially withANSYS FluentorFLOW3D .
Experience providing actionable feedback for design iteration and optimization cycles.
Process automation/scriptingcapability (e.g., VBA, MATLAB, Python, FORTRAN).
