Job Description PainterJob SummaryWe are seeking a skilled Painter to join our team, responsible for priming, painting, and finishing vehicles using spray equipment and manual techniques. This role involves masking, preparing parts, performing light bodywork, and maintaining all paint‑related equipment to ensure consistent, high‑quality results. Candidates should bring strong attention to detail, mechanical aptitude, and the ability to work both independently and as part of a production team.Key ResponsibilitiesPrime, paint, and touch up vehicles using power spray equipment and brushes.Mask, unmask, and adjust masking to meet quality and specification requirements.Clean, wash, condition, and prepare parts; perform light bodywork as needed.Disassemble, clean, repair, adjust, and reassemble paint‑line equipment to maintain optimal performance.Flush tanks, hoses, and spray guns during color changeovers.Mix paints to correct color, viscosity, consistency, and formula specifications.Conduct titrations and adjust chemicals in paint, zinc, or other processes.Apply decals, stencils, rust‑proofing, and other required finishes.Maintain work area and equipment, including performing preventative maintenance tasks.Inspect products before, during, and after the paint process to ensure they meet specifications.Transport, move, or guide parts, subassemblies, or assemblies throughout the paint workflow.Essential Skills & Experience6+ months of painting experience in automotive, heavy vehicle, equipment, industrial, or manufacturing environments.Strong mathematical skills for mixing ratios, measurements, and titrations.Basic mechanical aptitude and ability to troubleshoot paint equipment.Preferred Qualifications1+ year of automotive, heavy vehicle, or industrial painting experience.Experience in manufacturing, industrial production, or automotive body shop environments.Why Work With UsCompetitive benefits package$1.75/hour shift differential for 2nd and 3rd shift schedules$1,500 sign‑on bonus paid throughout the first year for new full‑time hiresOpportunity for growth, development, and long‑term career advancementWork EnvironmentWork performed inside paint booths with strong paint odors and high temperatures.Full paint suit and respirator required; minimal facial hair needed for proper respirator fit.Dress code: jeans, steel‑toed boots, and a clean work shirt.Culture supports both independent work and team collaboration.Overtime currently minimal, with future expectations of 40–45 hours per week once fully staffed.Job Type & LocationThis is a Permanent position based out of Mc Connellsburg, PA.Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $47320.00 - $54912.00/yr.Sign On Bonus: Eligible for full time employees (Contractors would be eligible upon conversion) $1,500 Total $500 @ 3 months of employment $500 @ 6 months of employment $500 @ 12 months of employmentWorkplace TypeThis is a fully onsite position in Mc Connellsburg,PA.Application DeadlineThis position is anticipated to close on Mar 27, 2026.About Aerotek:We know that finding work is hard, and finding meaningful work is harder.
