PT Paint Department Specialist

Paint Specialists work primarily in the Paint Department assisting residential and commercial customers with all things related to paint. The best applicants for this job have experience painting professionally and an eye for color matching and design trends. Paint Specialists assist customers in picking out colors and the right type of paint, mix and match stock or custom colors, and deal with all customer questions and concerns with their projects. The Paint Specialist will also assist in the receiving, stocking, pricing of all merchandise and help maintain a clean and orderly merchandise presentation and overall store cleanliness. Requirements: It is required that you be able to use computers and basic computer programs. Education/Training High School or GED equivalent. Physical Demands Standing, walking, lifting (up to 50lbs) and climbing. Additional Info: Experience Retail experience preferred. Experience as a professional painter is preferred. Experience in color/home design preferred.
