We provide a range of services for families and households across southeastern Massachusetts.Job SummarySelf Help, Inc. is seeking a skilled and reliable Facilities Manager to ensure the functionality and safety of our various facilities and equipment in the Brockton area. This role involves performing a wide range of maintenance, repair, and troubleshooting tasks to maintain a comfortable and operational environment for our staff and clients. The ideal candidate will be a proactive problem-solver with a strong attention to detail and the ability to work independently and as part of a team.Essential Duties and ResponsibilitiesConduct routine inspections of buildings, grounds, and equipment to identify potential issues and ensure preventative maintenance schedules are followedPerform general repairs and maintenance tasks, including but not limited to:Plumbing repairsElectrical repairsCarpentry workPainting and touch-upsHVAC troubleshooting and maintenanceAppliance troubleshooting and minor repairsSnow plowing experience requiredMust be able to operate a BobcatLawn mowingOther RequirementsMust pass a criminal background check and other required clearancesValid driver's license and reliable transportation is requiredScheduleVaried hours and days.
