This position is located at the Quonset Point facility in North Kingstown, RI.Qualifications Required:High school diploma or equivalent3 plus years steel fabrication/shipfitting or structural welding or relevant experienceAvailable to work all shifts, including extended hours, weekends or holidays as business needs dictatePossess strong PC skills including proficiency with the MS Word and ExcelAbility to obtain and maintain a security clearance through the department of defensePreferred:Supervisory/leadership experience4 plus years steel fabrication/shipfitting or structural welding experienceVocational, technical and community colleges or apprentice programsRelevant education or trainingProficiency in blueprint and drawing interpretationMDUNavy/militarySkills Good organizational, presentation and communication skillsAbility to interact with various levels of employees in the organizationDemonstrated leadership skillsPhysical Qualifications Climbing, crawling, kneeling, light lifting, medium lifting, pulling, pushing, reaching, stooping, twistingEnvironmental Attributes Cold, dry, dusty, fumes, hot, inside, noise, oily
