Prep Cook / Line Server

SAGE Dining Services® is seeking an enthusiastic prep cook/ line server to join our team at a private school located in Needham, MA, within a mile of the commuter transit. A Prep Cook is responsible for preparing food and kitchen equipment to ensure smooth kitchen operations. Key duties include washing, chopping, slicing, and measuring ingredients; preparing simple dishes like salads and sauces; maintaining kitchen cleanliness and organization; and ensuring compliance with food safety regulations. Prep cooks also manage inventory, label and store food properly, and provide support to other kitchen staff as needed. A Line Server's job description focuses on customer service, food handling, and maintaining a sanitary environment in a fast-paced setting like a cafeteria or food service line. A Typical work week is Monday- Friday 7 am- 3:30. What you'll get: Weekly pay. Maintain the customer service areas to ensure our guests enjoy amazing dining experiences. Prepare assigned menu items in accordance with SAGE recipes. Use proper food handling, storage, and sanitation techniques (HAACP). What you'll need: Experience as a prep cook or line server in a commercial kitchen preferred. Ability to understand and execute recipes and instructions in English accurately.
