Senior Power BI EngineerONSITE ROLE > 4 DAYS/WEEK IN ORLANDO FL12 Months ContractDescription\The Senior BI Engineer is responsible for solutioning, development, configuration, integrations, implementing, and supporting multiple, complex custom and 3rd party solutions. They will interact with users to define system requirements and/or necessary modifications. This resource also conceives, designs, develops, tests, and implements software components, fixes, enhancements, and/or new systems and applications. Will work in a fast-paced, agile, highly collaborative environment.Duties & ResponsibilitiesDevelop reporting solutions to help the business make better decisions, extraction of key data, and creation and management of operational dashboards to continue reviewing the applicable data setsDesign, develop, test and implement new integrations with agile, portfolio, service management, and data visualization platforms (Jira, ServiceNow, Clarity PPM, Power BI, etc.)Executes development of tools, automation, and scripts to facilitate new development, enhancements, platform maintenance, operational efficiency, reliability, and administrationProvides technical support for multiple levels of testing prior to release of new and enhancementsParticipates in planning and executing of projects for business unit initiatives and updating existing infrastructure, products and/or servicesIdentify root causes of system and resolve independentlyEngage to define or identify environment requirements/sizing, system architecture including Integration points, configuration, monitoring needs, security compliance, system availability, recovery, and implementation strategiesProactively work to identify and resolve technical blockersServe as technical liaison with vendors and manage vendor related activities such as incidents/bug fixes, release schedules, escalations, issue tracking, system accessProactively ensure compliance with Security standardsCreate and maintain required system documentationBasic Qualifications5 to 8 years experience software engineering, and supporting and maintaining enterprise applications, solutions and systems5 years of experience in Power BI and SQLDeep understanding of Smartsheet core and advanced applications with an ability to put real solutions in place that maximize the end user experienceExcellent verbal and written communication skills, including the ability to communicate complex findings in a structured and clear manner to a non-technical audienceExperience administration, configuring/building solutions in Smartsheet, Data Shuttle, DataMesh and Functions and Formulas, Platform Administrator, etc.Experience in Smartsheet functional areas like control center, workspaces, power apps, sheets, reports, dashboards, etc.Experience in data visualizations and data managementFamiliarity with creating solutions that integrate Smartsheet solutions with other services such as Jira, Clarity, ServiceNow, Power BI, etc.Proven experience working as a software developer on an agile delivery teamExperience with the migration of Smartsheet productsExperience in evaluating and configuring add-ons or pluginsExperience testing and performing upgrades, configuration changes, and applying bug fixesAbility to automate and extend base Smartsheet functionality, including scriptingExperience with customizing workflows, setting up dashboards, and generating reportsExperience working with vendor support and troubleshooting Smartsheet toolsExcellent Troubleshooting and problem-solving skillsKnowledge of the product management and software development lifecyclesExcellent problem-solving skills and demonstration of critical thinkingExperience in large-scale data management and analyticsExperience with project management methodologies (Agile, Scrum, Waterfall)EducationBSThe estimated pay range for this position is USD $80.00/hr - USD $84.50/hr.
