Job Title: Senior BI Engineer – Platform AdministratorLocation: St. Louis, MO (Hybrid – 3 Days Onsite)Duration: Long-Term Contract (Possible Extension/Conversion)Interview Process: 1 Round Panel InterviewJob SummaryWe are seeking a highly skilled Senior BI Engineer – Platform Administrator with strong expertise in Power BI Administration and OBIEE/OAC platforms. The ideal candidate will be responsible for administration, optimization, security, maintenance, and support of enterprise business intelligence environments while ensuring high availability, scalability, and performance.This role requires a strong technical background in BI platforms, SQL, system performance tuning, release coordination, and stakeholder collaboration. Candidates must be local to St. Louis, MO and available for a hybrid onsite schedule.Key ResponsibilitiesAdminister and support enterprise BI platforms including Power BI and OBIEE/OAC.Perform proactive system monitoring, maintenance, tuning, troubleshooting, and performance optimization.Manage BI platform security, user access, licensing, and compliance standards.Coordinate platform upgrades, patching, releases, and configuration management activities.Support production and non-production BI environments.Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues with urgency and efficiency.Develop and maintain documentation, reporting processes, and system procedures.Collaborate with DBAs, developers, vendors, and business stakeholders to improve analytics capabilities.Assist in report optimization and SQL tuning for enhanced platform performance.Research and recommend continuous improvements and platform enhancements.Mentor junior team members and provide technical leadership when required.Required QualificationsBachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Statistics, Business, or related field.5+ years of relevant BI platform administration experience.Strong expertise in:Power BI AdministrationOBIEE / Oracle Analytics Cloud (OAC)SQL and relational databasesExperience with system tuning, monitoring, upgrades, and platform security.Excellent troubleshooting and stakeholder communication skills.Preferred QualificationsPower BI Administration experience strongly preferred.Experience supporting large-scale enterprise BI environments.Exposure to analytics/reporting application support and release management.Work ScheduleHybrid model with minimum 3 onsite days weekly.Tuesday and Wednesday mandatory onsite days.Third onsite day can be Monday or Thursday.
