Please take a moment to browse through our website and learn more about what it means to serve with MKS2.Research Assistant – Unmanned Underwater Vehicles (UUV)Location: Monterey, CA – Naval Postgraduate School (Onsite)Position Title: Research Assistant / Engineering Research ScientistSalary: $55,000-$60,000 Part Time 20 hours a week.Position OverviewThe Research Assistant – UUV supports the Naval Postgraduate School (NPS) Physics Department in conducting advanced experimental research on unmanned underwater vehicle technologies. This role contributes directly to Navy‑sponsored research by executing experiments, analyzing data, developing optimized designs, and producing high‑quality scientific documentation.
