Full Charge Bookkeeper- Baltimore, MD8+ years of experienceCi Design, Inc. is a dynamic, highly collaborative architectural firm providing architecture, planning, and interior design services to clients domestically and internationally. We are growing rapidly and looking for an experienced Full Charge Bookkeeper to work full-time in our Baltimore office.In this role, you will oversee and manage the financial operations of the firm, including financial reporting, budgeting, compliance, and supervision of accounting functions. The ideal candidate will process business transactions, handle accounts payable and receivable, payroll administration, and support audits. You will collaborate with senior leadership and project managers to ensure financial accuracy, compliance, and operational efficiency.Key ResponsibilitiesOversee accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger functionsEnsure accurate coding, data entry, and transaction processingPrepare and analyze financial statements (balance sheets, income statements, cash flow)Develop and manage budgets, forecasts, and analyze variancesMaintain compliance with accounting regulations, including GAAPSupervise, train, and evaluate accounting staffIdentify and implement process improvementsMaintain strong internal controls for financial accuracyCoordinate and participate in audits and other financial reviewsMonitor and manage cash flow, including vendor payments and collectionsReconcile credit card transactions and create cash account journal entriesProvide financial advice to management to support strategic decisionsCollaborate with external accounting firms, banks, and vendorsRequirements And QualificationsAssociate’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field8-10 years of accounting experience, preferably in an AEC or professional services firmStrong knowledge of bookkeeping, financial reporting, GAAP, and complianceExperience in budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow managementProficiency in Microsoft Excel, Unanet, or other ERP/CRM financial systemsStrong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skillsLeadership ability to supervise and motivate accounting staffClear and professional communication skillsAbility to manage multiple priorities under deadlinesWhat We OfferSupportive and collaborative work environmentCompetitive compensation and benefits packageFull-time, in-office role
