Hutton's legacy serves Five Star Rated service to homeowners, business owners, and churches throughout the Tidewater area.The role of a Residential Service Electrician is to deliver exceptional Electrical service maintenance on electrical systems and to ensure all work is performed correctly and is reflective of Hutton's values.Vets to Techs: You served your country and are ready to transition to the trades. Your G.I. bill covers your training, tools and lab time for a 4 week boot camp style training at an off site training facility in Nashville. Upon completion, you will have earned a guaranteed spot on our team and $2k to put toward your new tools for your new trade. If you have been looking for a way to get into the trades...WE WANT YOU!Job Responsibilities:Install and/or Upgrade a wide variety of electrical components ranging from generators, rewires, additions, panels, etc..Provide electrical service and/or repair to customers' homes, apartments, and businessesCoordinate with utility service providers and local code officials to ensure proper guidelines are established.Responsible for adhering to all OSHA safety standards and regulations including the use of proper PPE at all timesKeep truck clean, stocked and accurately inventoried$20 - $35 an hourKnowledge, Skills and Abilities:Have a minimum of 2 to 5 years of verifiable work experience in the Electrical industry.Must be highly detail-oriented due to the nature of the electrical field to ensure safety for fellow technicians, self, and property.Must be team-orientedAbility to communicate effectively with customers and fellow coworkersRequirements:A High School diploma or general education degree (GED) is required.Apprenticeship Certification Preferred but not requiredJourneyman License Preferred but not required.Valid driver's license, and approved to drive by Company's insurance carrier.Willing to work hours outside of normal work schedule and on call scheduleYou should apply if:You love to learn️ You are a master of communication and can explain hard things in a simple wayYou like to solve people's problems for them.You are mechanically InclinedYour peers describe you as methodical, reliable, and trustworthy.You are self-motivated and looking for a 6-figure income careerYou have worked in an environment where your performance is rewarded financially.
