For all hires in the Minneapolis or Washington, D.C. area, you will be required to work in the office a minimum of four days per week.Primary Responsibilities:Provide Epic product function, design, build, and testing expertise and experience for assigned Epic module related to WillowCollaborate with end users to design and build the Epic system in a timely and professional manner and make corrective configuration or enhancementsLead small to medium complexity Epic software upgrade initiatives or enhancements to workflows including the design, build, and test phasesParticipate in design and validation sessions and ensure appropriate documentation, follow-up and issue escalation occursProvide technical and/or clinical consultation including application configuration. Review, analyze, and evaluate system needs to develop recommendations for customersDevelop, support and maintain all required system design and build documents and other system documentationPerform daily monitoring of applications in production useActively participate in all phases of the testing lifecycle and perform unit, system and integrated testing tasks and activities for EpicCare Inpatient workflowProvide support of application incidents reported through the help desk, including 24/7 on call coverage as requiredObtain and maintain in-depth knowledge of software functionality; acquire and utilize knowledge of operational workflows to be implementedPerform in-depth analysis of workflows, data collection, report details, and other technical issues associated with Epic softwareWork with trainers to develop and maintain application specific training curriculum and materialsTranslate business requirements into functional specifications and manages changes to specifications prioritize, coordinate, and implement updates and requested changes to the system; review and test each new release; troubleshoot problems and questions from end usersAdhere to organization standards for system configuration and change controlDevelop solid relationships with end user communities, customers and business partnersFacilitate communication with stakeholders from initial requirements to final implementationTroubleshoot and/or resolve application issues and escalate more complex issues as appropriateYou'll be rewarded and recognized for your performance in an environment that will challenge you and give you clear direction on what it takes to succeed in your role as well as provide development for other roles you may be interested in.Required Qualifications:Active / current Epic certification in Willow inpatient3+ years of healthcare experience3+ years of Epic build experiencePreferred Qualifications:Licensed pharmacist or pharmacy technicianActive / current Epic certification in BeaconAbility to demonstrate and have a history of team management (informal or formal), cross-team communication and leadership skillsExperience in pharmacy oncology build and infusion center workflowsExperience implementing new Epic installsProficiency with Excel, Visio, PowerPoint and SharePointKey Competencies:Excellent time management, organizational, and prioritization skills and ability to balance multiple prioritiesIn-depth knowledge of Epic EMR and the full implementation lifecycle of Epic's suite of EMR applicationsTeamwork and Collaboration. Work across team, group and business boundaries to drive commonality and reusability in solution to real-world problemsDemonstrate solid relationship management skills and ability to handle challenging interpersonal situationsPay is based on several factors including but not limited to local labor markets, education, work experience, certifications, etc. In addition to your salary, we offer benefits such as, a comprehensive benefits package, incentive and recognition programs, equity stock purchase and 401k contribution (all benefits are subject to eligibility requirements). The salary for this role will range from $91,700 to $163,700 annually based on full-time employment.
