.NET Web Developer II

Job Description:The Department of Justice has projects underway and continuing through FY23 which require the skills of a Certified Microsoft.Net web Developer II position. This is an application support position that will work on internal and external end-user support on a legacy application along with incident fixes and enhancements. Looking for candidate with 6 or more years of to support a legacy application written in VB.Net pending a revamp /modernization projectDesigns, develop, and implements web-based applications using the .NET framework to support business requirements. Includes the use of related development technologies such as ASP.NET, MVC, .NET CORE, and supported programming languages (e.g. C#, VB.net) and scripting languages (e.g. TypeScript, JavaScript, JQuery).Performs front-end and back-end development of web applications and web APIs (web services).Experience with ASP.net web forms and SSRS reportingExperience with MS SQL server and other RDBMS systems.Experience in writing and maintaining DB functions, DB procedures and other T-SQL activities.Follows approved life cycle methodologies, creates documentation, and performs application coding and testing. Resolves technical issues through debugging, research, and investigation.Requires a bachelor's or associate's degree in area of specialty or 5- 8+ years of experience in the field or a related area.Experience with standard concepts, practices, and procedures within a particular field. Can perform with no direct supervision, code is reviewed by the team.Can peer review other developer's code.The candidate will be required to complete computer-based Security Awareness Training at the beginning of agency engagement and annually thereafter.Excelled verbal and written communication and best use of judgment and diplomacy.Required Skills : .NET
