Repair Technician

Job Description Complete Quality is seeking dedicated Technicians I to provide contract-based warehouse support services. This is a 1099 independent contractor opportunity is an entry-level position offers an excellent opportunity for individuals with a strong technical background and a desire to develop their skills in industrial maintenance and equipment troubleshooting. The Technician I will support the maintenance and operation of manufacturing equipment, ensuring optimal performance, safety, and compliance with industry standards. Responsible for prep work prior to testing and performing the testing functions. Shift: Monday - Friday | 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM Compensation: Approx. $21.50 Hourly | Paid weekly via 1099 What you'll do on a typical day: * Inspect appliances to determine the cause of problems and breakdown * Identify and evaluate problems and damages to determine feasibility of repair following prescribed guidelines * Repair large appliances, such as refrigerators, dishwashers, washing machines, etc * Replace defective or damaged appliance parts * Perform tests to ensure appliances work properly after the repair * Maintain inventory of appliance parts, tools, and equipment * Strictly adhere to company safety policy and procedures What you need to succeed: At a minimum, you'll need: * Experience with WMS and / or Microsoft Office * Outstanding attention to detail and accuracy * Availability to work a flexible schedule with possible overtime as needed * Previous work experience as an Appliance Repair tech preferred * Strong knowledge of repair diagnostics and techniques * In-depth knowledge of various major home appliances and their components It'd be great if you also have: * High school diploma or equivalent * 1 year of experience in warehouse / distribution center operations * Appliance Repair Industry certifications * Ability to work independently and as a member of a team This job requires the ability to: * Lift up to 30 lbs. frequently and greater than 50 lbs. occasionally * Move materials weighing up to 500 lbs. using wheeled carts and other non-motorized MHE
