Key Responsibilities:Medication & Treatment Administration - Administer medications and treatments as prescribed, ensuring compliance with facility policies.Patient Monitoring & Reporting - Observe residents' conditions, document care accurately, and promptly report changes to the Nursing Supervisor and/or Physician.Shift Handover & Communication - Provide clear and thorough resident status updates to oncoming shifts, supervisors, and nursing staff.Physician Order Execution - Properly transcribe and carry out physician orders while ensuring accuracy and timeliness.Infection Control & Safety - Follow all infection control procedures to maintain a safe and healthy environment for residents and staff.Inventory Management - Assist in monitoring and maintaining supplies, medications, and medical equipment.Quality Improvement - Participate in quality assurance initiatives to enhance patient care and facility Operations.Resident Care & Comfort - Provide compassionate nursing care that prioritizes both the physical and emotional well-being of residents.Clinical Rounds & Problem-Solving - Conduct routine rounds to observe residents, address concerns, and implement effective solutions.Interdepartmental Collaboration - Effectively communicate and coordinate care with other healthcare team members.Customer Service & Resident Rights - Uphold a high standard of service while respecting resident rights and maintaining confidentiality.Qualifications:Active LPN License in the state of New York (required).Strong communication and teamwork skills.A caring and patient-centered approach to nursing care.
