2nd shift Industrial Maintenance Technician

We are a fast-paced, technically advanced, customer-focused operation creating high-quality, American-made products and we’re looking for individuals who are eager to learn and contribute to the Team!Position: 2nd shift (1:30pm - 10pm) Multi-Craft Maintenance Technician Essential Job Duties and Responsibilities:Assemble, Install, maintain, and repair electrical wiring and mechanical related equipment and fixtures in accordance with code compliance using hand and power toolsDiagnose and repair malfunctioning systems, apparatus, and components using test equipment.Inspect electrical systems to identify hazards, defects for adjustment and repair.Test electrical systems and continuity of circuits in electrical wiring, equipment, and fixtures using ohmmeters, voltmeters and oscilloscopes to ensure compatibility and safety of systems.Troubleshoot for proper mechanical operation of equipment and ensure safety systems, guarding, handrails, etc. are in place and functionalPreventative MaintenanceDowntime preventionCommunicate across various levels of the organization to achieve departmental goals.Collaborate with manufacturing team to ensure production conformity.Ability to work overtime as needed.Perform other duties as assigned.Qualifications, Skills, and Abilities:At least 5-10 years of Industrial manufacturing knowledge: machines and tools, including their design, uses and repair/maintenanceIndustrial manufacturing Knowledge of materials, methods and tools involved to make equipment repairs including the ability to use either control mechanisms or direct physical activity to operate machines or processes.Heavy manufacturing experience requiredMechanical and Electrical aptitudeWillingness to jump in and learnHigh school diploma or GED requiredJourneymen Certificate or equivalent preferredOSHA ARC Flash Training preferredWork Environment and Physical Demands:Handle moving objects: Using hands and arms in handling, installing, positioning and moving materials. The ability to see details at close and distant range with depth perception and the ability to see colors.Perform physical activities that require considerable use of your arms and legs, such as: climbing, crawling, lifting, balancing, walking, squatting, stooping, bending, twisting and handling materials.Indoor and outdoor climate conditions during all seasons and in varying temperatures.Ability to lift and carry items up to 50 lbs.Job Type: Full Time.
