Familiarity with safety procedures including lockout/tagout (LOTO), confined space entry, and routine water chemistry testing.Job SummaryNAES is seeking an Operations & Maintenance (O&M) Technician to support operations at a simple-cycle natural gas power plant located in Georgia. The Operations & Maintenance Technician is responsible for operating, maintaining, and monitoring the plant to ensure safe and consistent operations of the facility. The Operations & Maintenance Technician provides support for operations of all power plant systems, including responding to alarms, facility rounds, supporting plant shutdown, plant start-up, and routine maintenance per plant operations and maintenance procedures.Essential Duties And Responsibilities Operate and maintain GE 7EA gas turbines and balance-of-plant equipment in accordance with site procedures and safety protocols. Perform plant start-up, shutdown, and routine rounds to ensure reliable and efficient operations. Troubleshoot, repair, and maintain mechanical, electrical, and instrumentation systems. Maintain and calibrate plant Distributed Control System (DCS), instrumentation, and controls (Mark V/VI preferred). Complete preventive and corrective maintenance tasks and ensure proper documentation. Perform lockout/tagout, confined space entry, and other safety procedures per site policies. Conduct routine water chemistry tests and adjust systems to meet operational standards.Job Requirements Proven experience operating and maintaining combustion turbine generating stations. Hands-on experience with GE 7EA and/or 7FA turbines strongly preferred. Understanding of Mark V and Mark VI control systems. Knowledge of plant safety policies including chemical handling, high-energy systems, confined space, and LOTO. Familiarity with dispatch protocol and industry regulations. Proficient in Microsoft Office and digital maintenance systems.Education / Experience 5+ years experience in power plant operations and maintenance. Associate or Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or related field preferred
