The successful candidate will be responsible for scaling the company's alternative and hedge fund operations capabilities, partnering with Portfolio Managers and senior stakeholders to drive operational priorities, and enhancing core capabilities across various management areas. This role requires a strategic leader with a strong background in alternative operations, particularly in the areas of data, transaction, position, and performance management. The Head will serve as the business owner for hedge fund operations, setting the direction, defining governance, and maintaining a clear operating model. They will also be tasked with translating portfolio manager objectives into operational and technical capabilities, establishing governance and communication routines, and ensuring the integrity of various operational processes.Applicants for this role at the company should have a minimum of 10 years' experience in hedge fund operations leadership, with a focus on end-to-end processes, operational controls, and project management. A deep understanding of data governance and controls, intraday processing, and operating risk is essential. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in building enterprise-grade processes and platforms that can scale beyond hedge funds. A Bachelor's degree is required, and an advanced degree or professional credentials such as CFA or FRM are a plus.
