Fund Accounting Supervisor

Brewer Morris are proud to be partnering with a high-growth, global private capital fund administrator, renowned for its scale, technology-led platform, and strong reputation across the alternatives market.With $1T+ in assets under administration, significant headcount growth, and continued global expansion, including a major investment in its New York headquarters, the business is continuing to build out its US platform as part of an ambitious growth strategy.We are supporting the hire of a Fund Accounting Supervisor in New York, a key role within a high-performing team, offering broad exposure across the full private equity fund lifecycle and direct interaction with leading sponsors.Key responsibilities:Oversee the accounting and operations of private equity funds, taking ownership of key deliverablesReview and sign off on capital calls, distributions, financial statements, waterfalls, and IRR calculationsInterpret LPAs and governing documents to extract key fund economicsPartner directly with clients, acting as a key point of contactSupport and mentor junior accountants, providing oversight and quality controlDrive process improvements and contribute to enhancing operational efficiencyWork closely with senior leadership across a range of complex fund structures and transactionsWhat they are looking for:4+ years’ experience in private equity fund accounting, coming from a Big 4, Tier 2 firm, or another fund administratorProven ability to take ownership of deliverables end-to-end including capital activity and reportingSolid grounding in US GAAP (ASC 946) and fund structures (SPVs, co-invests, etc.)Experience reviewing work and operating in a client-facing environmentMust be eligible to work in the US (no visa sponsorship available)Comfortable working 3 days per week in the New York office
