The successful candidate will serve as a key intermediary between private equity portfolio managers and external vendors, including fund administrators, auditors, and tax professionals. This role is pivotal in overseeing all aspects of fund reporting operations across various private equity funds, ensuring the accurate recording and reconciliation of transactions within the portfolio management and accounting systems. The Assistant Controller will also be involved in the preparation of historical investment performance analyses, financial statements, and related reporting materials.Applicants must have a Bachelor’s degree or higher in accounting or finance, with a strong understanding of accounting theory, fund accounting, and financial reporting. A minimum of 5 years' of experience in accounting or finance is required, and a CPA is preferred. The role demands a highly detail-oriented and organized individual with the ability to meet deadlines, excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and a customer service focus. Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications is essential, as is the ability to collaborate effectively across all levels of the organization and with external stakeholders.
