Job Title: Behavioral Health Technician / Substance Use Disorder Professional (SUDP)Location: Aberdeen, WAEmployment Type: Contract (13 Weeks)Shift: Day Shift (08:00 AM - 04:30 PM)Position SummaryWe are seeking a dedicated Substance Use Disorder Professional (SUDP) / Behavioral Health Technician to provide comprehensive care and treatment for individuals with substance use disorders. This role involves delivering individual and group counseling, psychoeducational sessions, and treatment planning, while working collaboratively within a multidisciplinary behavioral health team.The ideal candidate will have strong experience in addiction treatment, clinical documentation, and patient engagement, with a focus on delivering high-quality, patient-centered care.Key ResponsibilitiesPatient Care & CounselingConduct individual counseling sessions for patients with substance use disordersFacilitate group therapy sessions and psychoeducational lecturesDevelop, implement, and coordinate individualized treatment plansMonitor and evaluate patient progress and treatment outcomesDocumentation & ComplianceMaintain accurate and timely clinical documentation in the electronic medical record (e.g., Meditech)Ensure compliance with state regulations and facility policiesDocument all counseling activities, treatment updates, and patient progressTeam CollaborationWork closely with a multidisciplinary behavioral health teamCommunicate patient progress, concerns, and care recommendationsParticipate in treatment planning meetings and care coordination activitiesRequired QualificationsExperienceMinimum 2 years of addiction treatment experienceExperience working in a multidisciplinary behavioral health settingEducationTwo-year degree or equivalent experience - requiredBachelor's or Master's Degree - preferredLicensure RequirementsRequired:Active Washington State SUDP LicenseAccepted Alternative:SUDP Trainee with:Active Washington State SUDP Counselor LicenseMinimum 1,800 hours of relevant work experienceRequired SkillsIndividual and group counseling techniquesPsychoeducational program deliveryClinical documentation and EMR usageStrong collaboration and communication skillsBehavioral health patient support and engagementSubstance use disorder treatment planning and monitoringIdeal Candidate ProfileCompassionate and patient-focused with strong interpersonal skillsAbility to work effectively in a team-based behavioral health environmentDetail-oriented with strong documentation and compliance awarenessCommitted to supporting recovery and improving patient outcomesFor more details reach atAditi.sharma@navitashealth.comor Call / Text at 516-587-6677.
