Client Analyst - Retirement
As a member of the North American Intermediary sales team, the primary responsibility of the Retirement Analyst is to support the firm's Retirement business, including the Defined Contribution Investment Only (DCIO) Business Development professionals and senior Retirement Relationship Managers.ResponsibilitiesSupport Business Development professionals and Relationship Managers in all aspects of building and maintaining client partnerships with Retirement Clients including: All types of retirement focused advisors but also Recordkeeping Platforms, Trust Companies, TPAs, and other home officesDevelop strong relationships with internal firm groups to articulate, process and resolve client requests and manage deadlines. Ensure a superior client experience by coordinating deliverables with legal, compliance, operations, client service, reporting, marketing, RFP, and portfolio management teamsDrive internal process improvement and data insights to help grow salesPlay an integral role in creating client deliverables pre and post engagement, handling ad hoc requests and maintaining quality control oversightAssist with client database (Salesforce) management and identification of new prospects for both intermediary and institutional contactsAssist with initial outreach and research of institutional DC companies to support Business Development professionalsAnalyze competitive landscape and portfolio characteristics across strategies using various investment research tools (e.g. Morningstar), for product onboarding, research advocacy, and discretionary model placement Create customized presentations on the state of our business for senior management and key internal stakeholdersRequirements1-3 years asset management sales or marketing experience preferred (intermediary or institutional)Detail-oriented with strong organizational and follow up skillsAbility to work independently and manage/prioritize multiple projects, coordinating with numerous internal groupsSuperior interpersonal, written and verbal communication skillsProficiency in Word, Excel, PowerPointFamiliarity with Salesforce or other CRM interfacesFamiliarity with AI toolsTeam player, highly motivated, eager to learn and coachableStrong interest in investments, investment products, asset allocation and capital markets.Enjoys a fast paced, high intensity environmentSIE, Series 7, and 66 licenses required within 6 months of employmentNeuberger Berman is unable to offer visa sponsorship for this position. This is the lowest to highest salary we in good faith believe we would pay for this role at the time of this posting. We may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range, and the range may be modified in the future. This range is only applicable for jobs to be performed in the job posting location. An employee’s pay position within the salary range will be based on several factors including, but limited to, relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, geographic location, business sector, performance, shift, travel requirements, sales or revenue-based metrics, market benchmarking data, any collective bargaining agreements, and business or organizational needs. This job is also eligible for a discretionary bonus, which, along with base salary and retirement contributions, is part of our total comprehensive package.
