Job Description Product Labels & Packaging Program Manager (16 Week Contract)OverviewWe are hiring a temporary Product Labels & Packaging Program Manager (16 weeks) to lead and stabilize label and packaging execution during a critical international launch production window. This role will ensure all purchase orders (POs) placed across our global manufacturing base are compliant, accurate, and production-ready as we scale new and replacement POs.This person will operate at the center of a highly cross-functional ecosystem, partnering with Sourcing, Product Development, QA, Creative, external label partners, and 100+ manufacturing partners across the US, Canada, UK, and EU.Responsibilities1. Cross-Functional Project ManagementOwn execution of labels and packaging across all categories and regionsDrive alignment between Manufacturing partners and external vendor (Rudholm) to ensure readiness for productionAct as the central point of coordination across 100+ manufacturing partners2. Compliance, PO Approval & Production ReadinessReview and check packaging and label accuracy in the Rudholm (and other packaging) vendor portals before production beginsValidate that all required label and packaging assets are correct, complete, and compliantEnsure zero outdated or incorrect label usage at factory level3. Vendor & Partner ManagementWork directly with manufacturing partners to ensure correct implementation of labels and packagingReduce back-and-forth by enforcing structured inputs and clear requirements4. QA, Tracking & Issue ManagementMaintain rigorous tracking for label and packaging status across all POsPartner with QA to ensure label accuracy and prevent inspection failuresProactively identify risks, bottlenecks, and gaps and resolve before production impact What Success Looks LikeKey outcomesBy the end of the 16 week contract, you will have:Ensured 100% of POs are approved with compliant labels and packaging prior to productionEstablished a clear tracking and approval reporting across all vendors and regionsEliminated use of outdated or incorrect label templates across factoriesReduced vendor confusion and back-and-forth through standardized inputs and processesCreated visibility into risks and ensured no production delays due to label or packaging issuesBy the end of the 16 week contract, you will achieved the following:PO Approval SLA: 100% of new POs reviewed and signed off within 24 hours using the new labels for international launchCompliance Accuracy: 0% compliance-related label errors across US, CA, UK, EUQA Performance: 0% inspection failures due to label or packaging issuesRequirements5+ years experience in labels, packaging, sourcing operations, or productionExperience managing high-volume, multi-vendor production environmentsExceptional attention to detail and ability to manage version control at scaleStrong Excel / Google Sheets skills for tracking and data managementAbility to operate with urgency and autonomy in a fast-paced environmentBonus: familiarity with regional labeling requirements (US, CA, EU, UK)Hourly rate $50-7040 hours a week
