Job Description Bachelor's or Master's degree in Social Work, active Social Worker license and minimum 1+ years School Social Work experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.An onsite School Social Worker position is available in Minneapolis, MN, for a 0.9 FTE contract from April 6, 2026, through May 8, 2026. This role involves covering an FMLA leave in a school serving approximately 220 students from grades 3 through 12.Key responsibilities include providing direct and indirect social work services to students facing social, emotional, or behavioral challenges that may impact academic success. The role requires performing special education due process duties, serving as an administrative designee on IEP teams, facilitating meetings, documenting notes, and completing due process paperwork. Collaboration with staff, families, and administration is essential to promote student success.The caseload consists of 23 students currently receiving direct services, with two additional students expected after spring break. The total student population receiving IEP services is 43.
