Accounts Payable Specialist (Manufacturing / Distribution)

DescriptionWe're seeking an Accounts Payable Specialist to support high-volume invoice processing within a manufacturing and distribution environment. This role plays a key part in maintaining vendor relationships and ensuring timely, accurate payments. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, organized, and comfortable working in a fast-paced, deadline-driven setting.Key Responsibilities+ Process high-volume vendor invoices and ensure proper approvals+ Match purchase orders, receipts, and invoices (3-way matching)+ Prepare and process check runs and electronic payments+ Reconcile vendor statements and resolve discrepancies+ Maintain accurate records of all accounts payable transactions+ Communicate with vendors regarding billing and payment inquiries+ Support month-end close and AP reporting+ Assist with process improvements and workflow efficienciesRequirements+ 3+ years of accounts payable experience+ Experience in manufacturing, distribution, or similar environment preferred+ Familiarity with high-volume invoice processingTechnical Skills+ ERP Systems: SAP, NetSuite, or similar (required)+ Microsoft Excel: intermediate (required)Core Competencies+ Strong attention to detail and accuracy+ Ability to meet deadlines and manage workload+ Strong communication and vendor management skillsRobert Half is the world's first and largest specialized talent solutions firm that connects highly qualified job seekers to opportunities at great companies.
