Benefits Hybrid schedule Competitive pay Job Details Job Details: We are seeking a dynamic and dedicated Permanent Paralegal specializing in Workers Compensation to join our thriving legal team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in workers compensation law, with the ability to handle a high volume of cases and perform under pressure. This role requires excellent organizational skills, keen attention to detail, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment. The successful candidate will provide comprehensive paralegal support, assisting in all aspects of case management and ensuring the smooth running of our legal office. Responsibilities: Provide paralegal support to our legal team in workers compensation cases, including but not limited to drafting pleadings, discovery, and other legal documents. Conduct legal research, gather relevant case-related information, and compile evidence to support claims. Manage the case calendar, ensuring all deadlines are met and appointments are scheduled appropriately. Maintain comprehensive and organized case files, ensuring all documentation is up-to-date and easily accessible. Communicate effectively with clients, attorneys, courts, and insurance companies, providing updates and information as needed. Manage incoming calls, providing exceptional customer service and directing queries to the appropriate parties. Perform data entry tasks, ensuring all case information is accurately inputted and updated in our database. Utilize Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Teams, etc.) to efficiently handle correspondence, scheduling, and document creation. Qualifications: A minimum of 5 years of experience as a Paralegal, with a focus on Workers Compensation. Paralegal certification or equivalent is required. Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Teams, etc.), calendaring, and data entry. Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal. Excellent customer service skills, with experience in answering phones and handling client queries. Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines simultaneously. Detail-oriented with a high level of accuracy in all work. A strong understanding of legal terminology and principles related to Workers Compensation. Ability to work independently and as part of a team, demonstrating initiative and problem-solving skills. Experience with legal research and drafting legal documents. Proven ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion. Interested in hearing more?
