Pay Rate DOE, W2 per hour Paid medical benefits Paid vacation Paid holidays PTO 401K US Citizen Or Green Card Holder only Remote (monthly onsite visit upon request) Shift: M-F 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM (may vary) JOB DESRIPTION: Sr. PowerBuilder and Oracle PL/SQL programmer who possesses a minimum of 10 years of experience in Oracle development and a minimum of 5 years of experience in PowerBuilder. The ideal candidate should have a proven track record of successfully delivering complex projects using these technologies. Develop, test, and maintain software applications using PowerBuilder and Oracle PL/SQL. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements, design solutions, and implement software enhancements. Perform code reviews and ensure adherence to coding standards and best practices. Develop and execute unit and integration tests to ensure software quality. Participate in system documentation and provide user support as needed. Troubleshoot and resolve software defects and performance issues. Required Skills and Experience: Minimum 10 years of experience in Oracle PL/SQL development, including stored procedures, triggers, and packages. Minimum 5 years of experience in PowerBuilder development, including PFC, Data windows, and UI design. Strong understanding of relational database concepts and experience working with Oracle databases. Proficiency in writing efficient and optimized SQL queries and performance tuning. Solid understanding of software development life cycle (SDLC) and agile methodologies. Experience with version control systems and code management practices. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Excellent communication and teamwork abilities. Stay updated with emerging technologies and recommend improvements to enhance system efficiency and functionality. Certifications: Relevant certifications in PowerBuilder or Oracle PL/SQL are a plus. Additional Requirements: Experience working on enterprise-level applications and large-scale projects. Familiarity with Microsoft web development technologies and other programming language.
