Job Title: CNC Machinist - Sheet Metal Manufacturing TechnicianLocation: Onsite in Lewisville, TX – Manufacturing EnvironmentSchedule: Full-time (overtime as needed)TEMP-TO-HIREOverviewWe are seeking a detail-oriented Sheet Metal Manufacturing Technician responsible for setting up, operating, and maintaining manufacturing equipment to ensure safe, efficient, and high-quality production. This role requires a strong mechanical aptitude and the ability to interpret technical drawings while ensuring all components meet specifications. The ideal candidate will contribute to process improvements and support training efforts within the department.Key ResponsibilitiesSet up, calibrate, and operate manufacturing equipment to meet safety and quality standardsInspect raw materials and components to ensure they meet specifications before processingVerify finished products conform to drawings and specifications using measuring tools such as gauges, calipers, and micrometersInterpret engineering drawings and determine proper sequence of operationsMonitor machine performance and make adjustments to improve efficiency and qualityReport on production, safety, quality, and operational issuesUtilize ERP systems, drawing/model viewers, and machine control softwareAssist in training team members on equipment operation and safety proceduresMaintain a clean, safe, and organized work environmentProvide support across the department as neededPerform additional duties as assignedQualificationsEducation & Experience:High school diploma or GED requiredManufacturing, machine shop, or mechanical experience preferredEntry-level candidates with strong mechanical aptitude are encouraged to apply (training provided)Skills & CompetenciesMechanical aptitude and ability to use hand toolsAbility to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings (metric and standard)Strong math and problem-solving skillsAttention to detail and quality-focused mindsetStrong troubleshooting and organizational skillsAbility to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environmentEffective communication and collaboration skillsSelf-motivated with the ability to identify and resolve issuesAdditional RequirementsAbility to lift 30–50 lbsReliable transportationWillingness to work overtime as neededAbility to pass pre-employment screeningPreferred QualificationsExperience with sheet metal fabrication processes such as bending, turret press, or laser operationsFamiliarity with ERP systems and technical software toolsBilingual abilities are a plusExperience identifying process improvements and operational efficiencies#ZR
