Role-Technical Program Manager (APM)Location: Exchange Place, Jersey City, NJ (3 days/onsite) HybridJob DescriptionAs the Technical Program Manager (APM), you will be the driving force behind the delivery of a large-scale enterprise data platform. This is a critical role within the Customer Success team, requiring a deep understanding of the P&C insurance domain and cutting-edge cloud data technologies. You will lead cross-functional teams to execute a fixed-bid data strategy project, ensuring alignment between complex technical architecture and strategic business goals.Required Skills & QualificationsDomain Expertise: 12 15+ years of experience in IT delivery and program management, with a mandatory background in P&C Insurance (Policy and Claims lifecycle) and Reinsurance.Technical Proficiency: Proven success delivering Snowflake or similar cloud data platforms, Data Lakes, and Data Warehouses.Data Frameworks: Strong understanding of ETL/ELT ingestion frameworks and data modeling.Certifications: Cloud certifications (specifically Azure) and data-related certifications (specifically Snowflake) are highly preferred.Emerging Tech: Exposure to GenAI use cases within the insurance industry.Soft Skills: Exceptional leadership, risk management, and the ability to manage interdependencies across multiple technical workstreams.Key ResponsibilitiesEnd-to-End Delivery: Lead the technical execution of the enterprise data platform using Agile (Scrum) methodologies, managing the project lifecycle from inception to completion.Technical Oversight: Supervise the implementation of complex data pipelines, moving data from source systems through Abstract, Validation, and Data Store layers.Strategy & Alignment: Ensure technical execution remains strictly aligned with the broader data strategy and client business objectives.Stakeholder Management: Serve as the primary point of communication for senior leadership; participate in Quarterly Business Reviews (QBRs) and executive status updates.Governance & Quality: Enforce data architecture standards, security policies, and governance. Drive best practices for data lineage, observability, and quality.Program Health: Manage RAG status reporting, risks, and issues. Track key performance indicators (KPIs) including delivery velocity and quality metrics.Financial Management: Oversee project budgets, forecasting, and cost optimization strategies.EducationBachelor s or Master s in Information technology, Computer Science or related field.
