Finishing/Coating Sales Specialist (Outside Sales) We are currently seeking a Finishing/Coating Sales Specialist (Outside Sales) to assist with growth in our sales territory. Key Responsibilities Work in tandem with Richelieu's Industrial Sales Representatives to schedule and hold face-to-face consultations with new and existing customers, learning about their business and how Richelieu Finishing product solutions can enhance their results Maintain accountability for the growth of your provided territory, both through the development of existing relationships as well as the acquisition of new customers Identify and analyze past buying patterns of current accounts, and brainstorm ways to become their stronger, more inclusive supplier Provide a state of the art customer service experience, positioning yourself as their desired one-stop shop Educate yourself on, and continuously stay up to date with, Richelieus Finishing product offerings, as well as ever-changing market conditions and competitive analysis Hold responsibility for system information and reporting in CRM application What We Are Looking For Technically-minded, preferably with experience or education in chemistry/science Knowledge of wood coatings or powder/spray coatings is key to success in this position; spray application finish background is a plus Ability to take part in the provided training to acquire an understanding of coatings and finishing with various products, applications, and methods Passionate, proactive, coachable, strong work ethic Ability to schedule and manage your own time, delivering on the activities that produce results Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills Developed analytical, planning, organizing, and monitoring skills Experience in Customer Relationship Management (CRM) software an asset Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications; must be able to effectively use Excel, Word, Outlook for daily responsibilities and tasks As this position requires regular automobile travel, you must have your own independent, reliable transportation.
