Fabrication Support (Weekend Shift)

Weekend Shift: 6:00am-6:30pm (Friday, Saturday, Sunday)Key Obsessions:Ensure accurate material movementTransport fabricated parts using parts carts to the next operation in the fabrication process.Accurately record part movement in ERP system to maintain inventory integrity.Verify part quantities and labels before movement to prevent errors in downstream operations.Monitor and communicate any material shortages, delays, or discrepancies to the appropriate team members.Finishing and Cleaning operationsPerform deburring, polishing, passivation and straightening processes to meet quality standards.Perform cleaning operations on raw materials to prepare them for fabrication.Inspect finished and cleaned parts to verify they meet visual and dimensional requirements.Maintain finishing and cleaning equipment, reporting wear or issues to ensure consistent performance.Handle raw materials accuratelyAccurately move raw materials between warehouses using the ERP system.Safety operate forklifts to transport materials and assist with loading and unloading trucks.Verify raw material identification, quantities, and heat numbers to ensure correct usage in fabrication.Store materials in designated locations to maintain organization, traceability, and safe warehouse conditions.Core Accountabilities:Foster open communication, knowledge-sharing, and collaboration while upholding Aagard's values of Winning, Together, Honorably, Passionately, and Positively.Recommend and implement best practices to prioritize safety, improve productivity, reduce costs, and support continuous improvement initiatives.Maintain professional interactions with customers and vendors, representing Aagard accurately and positively.Overtime may be required based on business and customer needs. Team members may be asked to work before or after their scheduled shift or on non-regular workdays.Perform additional duties as assigned.Knowledge and Experience:High school diploma or equivalentPrevious shipping, receiving, and inventory experience preferredAbility to operate or be trained to operate a forkliftPrevious experience working in a manufacturing environment helpfulObservant with attention to detailAbility to communicate professionally with internal and external customers verbally and in writingExperience or training with computers and ability to learn and use Aagard specific softwareProficient keyboarding skillsStrong time management and organizational skillsConscientious of meeting and exceeding internal and external customers needsAbility to walk or stand up to 100 percent of the timeAbility to lift up to 75 lbs, stoop, kneel, crouch, crawl, or climbValid driver's license requiredSoftware used: Microsoft Dynamics AX, CAD software, Microsoft Office SuiteBenefits Offered:At Aagard, we believe in investing in you-your health, your career, your financial future, and your well-being.
