The position is contract-to-hire, providing a pathway to permanent employment based on performance and mutual fit.Location: Fredericksburg, Virginia Schedule: 7:30 AM to 4:00 PM or 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM Pharmacy operating hours: 7:30 AM to 4:30 PM No on-call or weekend coverage required Responsibilities: Prepare and dispense chemotherapy and infusion medications accurately and safely Collaborate with multidisciplinary outpatient oncology staff to optimize patient care Utilize EPIC electronic medical record system for documentation and medication orders Manage inventory and medication distribution through Pyxis systems Provide patient counseling and respond to clinical questions regarding outpatient infusion therapies Support pharmacy technicians and contribute to efficient workflow in the outpatient infusion area Qualifications: Valid Pharmacist license in Virginia is required Experience in infusion pharmacy, hospital pharmacy, or chemotherapy preferred Familiarity with EPIC and Pyxis systems highly desirable Strong attention to detail and commitment to patient safety This contract position is an excellent fit for pharmacists seeking a focused role in oncology infusion care within a respected acute care setting.
