Associate Attorney

Job Description We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Associate Attorney to join our litigation team. This position offers substantial hands-on litigation experience, courtroom exposure, and opportunities for professional growth.ResponsibilitiesManage litigation matters from inception through resolutionDraft pleadings, motions, discovery requests and responses, and legal memorandaConduct legal research and case analysisAttend hearings, mediations, depositions, and court appearancesCommunicate directly with clients, opposing counsel, and court personnelAssist with trial preparation and participate in trials as neededMaintain organized case files and meet litigation deadlinesQualificationsJuris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law schoolLicensed and in good standing with the State Bar of Michigan1–5 years of litigation experience preferred, though strong recent graduates will be consideredExcellent writing, research, and oral advocacy skillsStrong organizational and time-management abilitiesAbility to work independently while collaborating with a teamExperience with civil litigation procedures and court rulesPreferred QualificationsDeposition and courtroom experienceExperience handling discovery and motion practiceFamiliarity with case management software and e-filing systemsCompany DescriptionWe are a growing boutique law firm dedicated to providing aggressive, strategic, and client-focused legal representation.
