Civil Intern Engineer or Civil PE

Civil Intern or Civil PE System One is partnering with an architectural firm seeking a Civil Intern or Civil PE Engineer in the Kansas City, Missouri area. Responsibilities include:Perform advanced design and technical modeling of site construction documents using AutoCAD Civil 3D, including creating dynamic surfaces, pipe networks, and complex grading plansPrepare comprehensive hydrology and hydraulics (H&H) reports for stormwater managementDesign utility infrastructure ensuring municipal complianceCoordinate with agency reviewers and respond to technical "redlines" during the permitting processSupport project management tasks such as tracking budgets, coordinating with subconsultants, and reviewing shop drawings to maintain design integrity during constructionAssist in construction administration and support project delivery efforts Requirements 1 to 5 years of relevant experience in civil engineering design and modelingProficiency in AutoCAD Civil 3D for generating dynamic surfaces, pipe networks, and grading plansExperience in hydrology and hydraulics reports for stormwater managementKnowledge of utility infrastructure design and municipal regulatory complianceStrong coordination skills for permitting processes involving agency reviewersAbility to support project management activities, including budget tracking and review of construction shop drawingsBachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related fieldEPA or PE licensure is a plus but not requiredSystem One, and its subsidiaries including Joulé, ALTA IT Services, and Mountain Ltd., are leaders in delivering outsourced services and workforce solutions across North America.
