Surgery - Cardiovascular Physician Assistant

Position Title:Full-Time Cardiothoracic Physician AssistantLocation:ArizonaPosition Overview:We are seeking a full-time Cardiothoracic Physician Assistant to join our close-knit team of skilled surgeons and physician assistants. This is an excellent opportunity to work in a collaborative, supportive environment where you will gain hands-on experience in both the operating room and intensive care unit. We are willing to train the right candidate, and we strongly encourage providers with a Surgery Background as well as experienced providers to apply.Practice Highlights:Tight-knit, team-oriented group of cardiothoracic surgeons and PAsBalanced mix of OR and ICU responsibilitiesOpportunities for mentorship and skills developmentStrong support for professional growth and career advancementResponsibilities:First and second assist in cardiothoracic surgical proceduresPerform endoscopic vein harvesting (training provided if needed)Manage pre- and post-operative patients in the ICU and step-down unitsConduct patient rounds, write progress notes, and coordinate carePerform procedures as credentialed (e.g., central lines, chest tube management, arterial lines)Collaborate closely with surgeons, nurses, and other members of the care team to deliver high-quality patient careQualifications:Graduate of an accredited Physician Assistant programCurrent NCCPA certification (or eligible)Arizona PA license (or ability to obtain prior to start)Strong interest in cardiothoracic surgery and critical careExcellent teamwork, communication, and organizational skillsOR and ICU experience preferred but not required training will be providedSchedule & Compensation:Full-time position with shared call responsibilitiesCompetitive compensation package, including benefits, CME allowance, and paid time offNew Graduates/ Need Training in CT - Approx. $130k, with milestones to achieve higher earningsExperienced CT PA's - $150k or much more, depending on experienced How to ApplyPlease send the following:Your updated CV or resumeA brief summary of your Florida license statusSubmit to:Charles RodriguezPresident & CEO Emergency Solutions LLC
