Aftermarket - Parts Coordinator
Position Summary
Exro is seeking a highly organized and meticulous Part Coordinator to manage inventory and coordinate parts operations within our facility. This role requires expertise in SAP for tracking and managing inventory and forklift certification to manage physical parts efficiently. The ideal candidate will be adept at maintaining accurate records, ensuring timely delivery of parts, and collaborating with various departments to support operational goals.
Key Responsibilities:
Inventory Management: Oversee and manage inventory levels, ensuring accurate stock counts and timely replenishment of parts.
SAP Expertise: Utilize SAP software to monitor inventory, process transactions, generate reports and track parts movement. Maintain up-to-date records within the SAP system.
Forklift Operation: Safely operate forklifts to move, load, and unload parts and materials. Ensure adherence to safety protocols and maintenance of equipment.
Coordination and Communication: Collaborate with procurement, production, and, logistics teams to ensure the seamless flow of parts and materials. Communicate effectively to address any issues or discrepancies.
Quality Control: Inspect parts for quality and accuracy, handling discrepancies or damaged items according to established procedures.
Documentation: Maintain accurate records of inventory transactions, shipments, and receipts. Prepare and file reports as required.
Process Improvement: Identify opportunities to streamline processes, and improve parts management, and inventory control efficiency. Recognize cost-saving and avoidance opportunities.
Safety and Compliance: Adhere to all safety guidelines and regulatory requirements for parts handling and forklift operation.
Required Skills and Experience:
High school diploma or equivalent; additional training or certification in inventory management or logistics is a plus.
Minimum of 2 years of experience in inventory coordination, warehouse management, or a related field.
Forklift Certification: Valid certification and proven experience operating forklifts safely and efficiently.
SAP Expertise: Proficiency in SAP, Dynamics, or ERP software with a solid understanding of inventory management modules and functionalities.
Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Diligence and accuracy in handling parts and data.
Ability to work effectively in a challenging environment.
Critical thinking skills and a proactive approach to addressing challenges.
Physical Requirements:
Ability to lift and carry items up to 50 pounds.
Prolonged periods of standing, walking, and operating forklifts.
