The company also operates AMC Studios, our in-house studio, production, and distribution operation behind acclaimed and fan-favorite originals including The Walking Dead Universe and the Anne Rice Immortal Universe, and AMC Networks International, our international programming business.We are currently seeking a Public Relations Coordinator to join ourPublic Relations team based in our New York, New York office.JOB RESPONSIBILITIESAssist the PR team in organizing and executing consumer PR campaigns and overall launch strategiesDraft and gather written press materialsHelp organize and assist with press events, media tours, screenings, etc.; staff as neededAssist with talent and producer outreach, coordination, interviews, etc.Deliver all assets necessary for press appearances (key art, episodic clips, unit photos, etc.)Develop relationships with consumer, electronic and digital mediaManage daily press clippings and build and share press coverage reportsAssist in the selection of clips, stills, and additional publicity materials for media placementManage screeners.com activity for all seriesWork with assistant to maintain and update media lists; conduct research and build media lists to support national and regional PR planning and strategyCoordinate talent travel logistics for events throughout the year, including tracking budgetUndertake general administrative and clerical duties in PR Group, including tracking and processing invoicesOther duties as assigned by the Network PR executives, as needed QUALIFICATIONS (Required & Preferred)Bachelor's degree1-2 years of relevant PR experienceFlexible, personable, self-starterExcelling knowledge and proven experience of Microsoft applications, including PowerPoint, Excel, etc.Strong oral and written communications skills with ability to interact with all levels of managementAbility to work well with others and collaborate across the organization to achieve goals.Detail oriented with strong organizational skills, creative, and critical thinkerDemonstrated ability to work in a fast-paced environmentAbility to maintain highest degree of confidentiality and diplomacyMust be flexible to work overtime on short notificationDemonstrated ability to prioritize, self-start, contribute under pressure and meet tight deadlinesExperience working with entertainment and mediaThe base compensation range for this position is $50,000 to $55,000 commensurate with experience.
