Production Supervisor (3rd Shift)

3rd Shift Supervisor The 3rd Shift Supervisor is responsible for directly supervising and coordinating the activities of the 3rd shift employees. The employee must be reliable, punctual, and able to thrive in a high pace work environment. We also provide rotational lining for corrosion protection with seamless liners for pipelines and equipment, and additive manufacturing capabilities for advanced flight hardware production.Essential Position Functions and Responsibilities: This position includes the following essential functions, but is not limited to them:Manage and direct the efforts of subordinates in their daily activity through work assignments to meet production schedulesProvide guidance, instruction, and training to produce a quality product in a safe mannerResponsible for the daily production activity including fabrication, surface preparation, lining, molding, trimming, of value stream productsProvide technical advice to the Engineering and Sales Departments for value stream productsEnsure value stream objectives are met in regard to on time delivery and qualityEnsure safety, 5S and maintenance activities are followedEnsure that all documentation related to work performed in the value stream are accurate and filled out in a timely mannerHires, coaches, reviews, supervises, and makes effective suggestions and recommendations that are given particular weight regarding the employment status of assigned employeesMaintains time, payroll and materials records as requiredSupervises, coordinates, and actively assists in the daily activities of all personnel on 3rd shiftProvide Weekly Updates to all pertinent Value Stream ManagerPerform other duties as assigned.Requirements and Qualifications: Manufacturing experience strongly preferredAbility to plan and execute work independentlyProficient computer skills to include MS Office, Advanced Excel, and experience with Visual Manufacturing Software is a plusAbility to multitask in a fast-paced environment with fluctuating priorities and deadlinesStrong knowledge/experience within area of responsibilityHigh School diploma/GEDAdditional training and/or education may be requiredRequired to conduct work on-site in a plant/warehouse environmentEnsure personnel are following all company policies and procedures.Requires compliance with all Federal, State, and Local regulations and Company work rules as well as written instructionsAbility to work without direct supervision and effectively manage tasks and timeRequires a flexible and cooperative attitude, which includes when asked to perform other duties or tasks that are not listed within this job description but within the scope of this positionRequires communication skills both written and orally in the English languageRequires excellent safety practices, which includes keeping a clean work areaInterpersonal skills are essential and vital to maintain an organized warehouseEffectively process change through RMB feedback and reviewsRequires personal responsibility and accountability meeting workmanship standards with little supervision to complete assignmentsMust maintain the confidentiality of all projects, customers, and RMB and all of its employeesAdditional training and/or education may be requiredPhysical Requirements and Hazards: The employee will be required:Standing: working with machinerySitting: computer workAbility to operate a fork-lift and overhead craneLifting no more than 50 pounds alone and assisting in team lifts of more than 50 poundsEach employee is to fulfill the work schedule, work hours, and productivity expectations of their supervisor and RMBAn employee is to comply with established standards, policies, and laws applicable to our businessSpecific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focusHazards: RMB Products enforces all safety regulations.
