Opportunity: RN - Stepdown Job Details: • Work 12-hour night shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM • 36 or 48 guaranteed hours per week (must be specified on submission) • 13-week assignment length • Work every other weekend as required • No call requirements • Patient ratios of 1:3 or 1:4 on 29-bed unit • 2 years of stepdown experience required • Current Missouri RN license or eligible for Missouri licensure required • Required certifications: BLS and ACLS from AHA only • Float to departments with equal or lower acuity when needed • Use EPIC electronic medical record system • Must have experience with stepdown or ICU care, post-op care, Bipap, cardiac drips • Care for post-operative patients, trauma patients, and high acuity medical patients • Black scrubs required (specific Mercy-approved attire) • Flu vaccination or approved exemption required November 1 - April 1 • Position offers auto-offer with flexible scheduling options available • Strong time management and critical thinking skills essential Facility: This healthcare facility has been serving the South County area for over 140 years and earned a B grade in The Leapfrog Group's Fall 2023 Hospital Safety Grade.
