This entry-level role offers a fantastic chance to enter the healthcare and pharmaceutical sectors, where you will support our client, Pfizer. Your primary goal as a Pharmaceutical Sales Representative will be to enhance awareness of high-risk patient populations concerning COVID-19. In this contracted position, you will engage with healthcare professionals (HCPs), urgent care centers, and retail pharmacies to promote awareness of at-risk patients as per directives. You will report directly to the Area Business Manager. Your responsibilities will include:Providing expert support to physicians regarding COVID-19 risk factors, disease progression, and treatment options. Educating targeted healthcare providers to ensure preparedness for patient identification. Establishing and nurturing relationships with customers through regular contact as outlined in the Field Pharmaceutical Sales Contracted Team Statement of Work (SOW). Collaborating closely with colleagues to align goals and coordinate efforts effectively. Conducting market analysis to identify opportunities and develop actionable plans for maximum sales impact. Working within a team culture that fosters collaboration and encourages innovative ideas. Key activities in this role involve:Engaging with HCPs by providing insights related to drug interactions, supply locations, and identifying high-risk patients. Maintaining a comprehensive understanding of the product, patient education resources, and market dynamics. Implementing strategic call plans to exceed targets for assigned areas. Performing thorough customer analysis to tailor effective sales approaches based on historical data. Collaborating with colleagues to prioritize local opportunities and develop targeted account strategies. Guiding interactions with retail pharmacy partners to boost sales efforts. Utilizing effective interaction techniques throughout the sales process. Customizing sales messages to meet specific customer needs. Providing information on approved support resources. Completing all necessary reporting and record-keeping in accordance with company procedures. Balancing study and certification requirements to maintain up-to-date knowledge in your field. Participating in all required training and sales conferences. Completing compliance training within designated timelines. What you need to succeed:A Bachelor's Degree. A minimum of 2 years of relevant experience in: Pharmaceutical Sales Medical/Medical Device Sales Professional Sales or Promotional Activities Entrepreneurial endeavors or Account Management Relevant Healthcare roles (e.g., RN, Pharmacist, PT, OT) Education (Teacher or Principal) Military experience Proximity to the territory, must live within 25 miles of the boundary. Experience in urgent care settings is a plus. Willingness to travel as needed. A valid US driver's license with a clean driving record as per company standards.
