Privately HeldAbout the RoleThe Company is seeking a Chief Operating Officer (COO) to join their team in a pivotal, second-in-command leadership role. The successful candidate will be responsible for translating the firm's vision into actionable plans, overseeing and optimizing operations across various business functions, and building a culture of accountability and performance. This role involves leading cross-functional departments, managing budgeting and financial operations, and ensuring the implementation of systems that enhance efficiency and support the firm's growth. The COO will also be a key partner to the CEO, working closely to scale the firm both strategically and operationally.Applicants for the COO position at the company should have a minimum of 7 years' progressive leadership experience in a senior or executive operations role within the legal industry, with a strong preference for those with a background in personal injury law. The role requires a proven track record in leading operations in a high-volume legal environment, experience in managing large teams, and a deep understanding of legal operations, financial workflows, and process improvement. The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's degree, with an MBA or similar advanced degree being preferred, and must be technically familiar with legal industry software and tools. The COO will be expected to demonstrate strong leadership, communication, and performance management skills, and to have a proactive approach to identifying and meeting the firm's operational needs.Hiring Manager Title
