As a Lead Data Engineer, you will design, develop, and operationalize the MDM platform which includes building data pipelines to integrate data sources to MDM Platform, tuning matching algorithms and developing APIs to enable master data consumption.This is a remote position that follows Central Standard Time (CST) working hours.ResponsibilitiesDesign, develop, optimize, and maintain data pipelines, storage, and compute components using Azure ServicesCollaborate with cross-functional teams to collect and review MDM requirements and translate them into technical design documents.Perform data analysis and profiling using Collibra data quality platform to support Data Governance initiatives.Foster a culture of sharing, re-use, design for scale, stability, and operational efficiency of data and analytical solutions.Partner with Enterprise Architecture to develop detailed design documents that would be leveraged for developmentMinimum RequirementsBachelor’s degreeAt least 2 years of data engineering, data quality and/or analytics or statistical analysis experienceORMaster’s degreeAt least 1 years of data engineering, data quality and/or analytics or statistical analysis experienceORAt least 5 years of data engineering, data quality and/or analytics or statistical analysis experienceAdditional RequirementsQualified candidates, excluding current Navistar employees, must be legally authorized on an unrestricted basis (US Citizen, Legal Permanent Resident, Refugee or Asylee) to be employed in the United States. Navistar does not anticipate providing employment related work sponsorship for this position (e.g., H-1B status)Desired SkillsHands-on experience with MDM tools like Informatica (IDMC/IICS), Reltio or Stibo STEP platformSolid knowledge of data integration patterns, data matching techniquesStrong proficiency in PLSQL, Spark, PySpark, Python and PandasHands-on experience in Azure Data Factory or Informatica Power center and any data quality tool (Informatica or Talend DQ, Trilium or Ataccama)Experience with DevOps tools like Azure DevOps or JenkinsExceptional communication and collaboration skills to understand business partner needs and deliver solutionsIntellectual curiosity to understand and answer questionsIntellectual humility to leverage the expertise of othersExemplary organizational skills with attention to detail & accuracyOpenness to working in agile environments with multiple stakeholders.Professional attitude and service orientation; team playerGood communication and collaboration skillsCompany OverviewNavistar, Inc.
