Responsibilities
Identify and implement solutions to minimize equipment downtime and enhance overall productivity, contributing to key operational metrics.
Spearhead Lean and DMAIC initiatives to drive process optimization and efficiency improvements across packaging lines.
Lead the selection, qualification, and integration of new packaging equipment, ensuring seamless implementation and optimal performance.
Monitor and report on the progress and impact of improvement projects, providing insights for data-driven decision-making.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to uphold the highest standards of safety, quality, and operational efficiency.
Provide crucial support for new product launches and capacity expansion projects, ensuring packaging systems meet evolving business needs.
Qualifications
Required Skills
Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical or Industrial Engineering, or equivalent practical experience.
Minimum of 7 years of experience in a production environment.
Proficiency in Lean Manufacturing principles and root cause analysis methodologies.
Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities and adapt to changing project requirements.
Preferred Skills
Experience in FDA-regulated production environments.
Expertise in OEE (Overall Equipment Effectiveness) tracking and improvement.
Proficiency in AutoCAD, SolidWorks, and 3D printing/scanning technologies.
Exceptional communication, leadership, and problem-solving capabilities.
